The best guides on the internet – learning more about brain tumour types
With so much information on the internet, the BTA WA won’t try to reproduce it all here. Instead, we recommend the following online guides, which can be downloaded and printed for yourself, family and friends. They provide a good start to learn about brain tumours – the range of types and how they are understood to date.
The American Brain Tumour Association provides a range of detailed booklets, which are available to download here, on different brain tumours and treatment options.
The ABTA has also produced the A Primer of Brain Tumours, which you can download by clicking here. It is one of the most comprehensive guides on the internet, and provides a strong foundation to understand brain tumour issues.
Another great set of guides and publications can be downloaded at the US National Brain Tumor Society, a leader in the US brain tumor community. These highly recommended guides include:
