How to get involved

As a volunteer run and driven organisation – without any paid staff or regular source of funding – we always appreciate new members joining.

But we also understand the level of involvement and participation is really up to you – there’s no sense of obligation.

Join our email list and be kept up to date on local issues and meetings. Regularly attend events and forums. Or just pick and choose – make the BTA WA suit you.

Previous events have included:

  • International Brain Tumour Alliance Chair Denis Strangman visited Western Australia to talk on the latest international trends for brain tumour research and trials;
  • BTA WA held its annual International Brain Tumour Awareness picnic at Kings Park;
  • Conducted a workshop on dealing with stress and anxiety; and
  • Neurosurgeon Professor Byant Stokes spoke in March this year on current Western Australian treatmeants for brain cancer.

To obtain a membership form or for further information, please do not hesitate to contact our secertary Laura McDermott on 0430 196 059 or email us on the contact page.

We really hope to hear from you!
